Calf Press on the Leg Press Machine



Targets the calves.

Sit on a leg press machine. Your feet are at a shoulder width distance. Push the platform with your feet up to the point when your legs are almost straight. Your knees are a little bent. Your legs and body form a 90 degree angle. The starting position: The balls of your feet and your toes are on the bottom part of the platform and your heels are off the platform. Toes straight focuses evenly on the calves. Toes out focuses on the inner calves. Toes in focuses on the outer part of the calves. Push the balls of your feet and your toes, lift your heels, and squeeze your calves. Return to the starting position.
